25 year old Boston resident Alex Hassan is making a strong case at AAA Pawtucket for the parent club. He was judged as having the best knowledge of the strike zone among all Red Sox minor leaguers. He is hitting .359 for the year with 23 walks and only 19 k's. He is also considered to be an excellent outfielder. His only drawback is that he went to Duke. Can we forgive him for this?
