DaddyChoc, thanks for another name for that Public Team. As to your Bridgeport Classic, for us up here in the eastern part of the State, THE after high school tourney took place in the City of Norwich. The Norwich Bulletin Basketball Tourney brought in a lot of talent, post grad's, college, high school stars, even a few low level pro players. The tourney was held in the little band box gym known as Norton Gym, and yes it was small. Many stories abound about the tourney, and the players that showed up. One story was about Providence College's former star Marvin Barnes. Marvin was "recruited" to play for one of the teams, he showed up late, played about half of the game, then departed for parts unknown. Yes, DaddyChoc, the Bulletin Tourney was a good time to see a lot of talent.

The City Open was also played in B port and you could see crazy mad talent there.Back in the day got to play against Calvin Murphy and his cousins Willie and Gumby who could both also jump out the gym as well as James Cox ,Luckett and the New Haven guys
