I am more than a little disappointed in our many South Carolina fans and posters for not pointing this out when it happened. My apologies in advance if any of you did and I somehow missed it.
Sadly, Alaina lost her father in March from a heart attack while driving.
He was a Marine and Alaina's personal rock. May he rest in peace and my condolences to Alaina and her family.

Yes, it was very sad; it was discussed on our boards and on twitter. Alaina was very close to her dad; I hate that he didn't get to see her play in the WNBA.
