Good thing about Mike Rice coached kids is that they are going to be tough, willing to be coached hard.

At some point, someone is going to give Rice a 2nd chance as an assistant and tap into a nice talent pipeline that he’s had a hand in building in NJ.

He recruited some Bob Hurley Sr. kids to RMU, namely Lucky Jones, so there’s some history there with the Hurley family.

The Hurley and Rice families know each other very well. Hurley recruited Langevine out of St. Pat’s when Rice was starting to get in the mix there, but Biruta also transferred to play for him at URI after being in the center of the Rice mess at Rutgers.

Seems like he's a back up to Gaffney right now.
