Crispino said on radio that Akok prefers to watch the home games on TV. This is a super unusual move. Anyone have any more info on why he does this?

Haven't they said it's hard for him to move around? I mean... I think you can imagine why.

Crispino made it seem like he just prefers watching the games on TV.

He was behind the bench. Saw him there in a white shirt next to a lady, front row of the corner section

May not be the case any more but he watched previous games from the locker room because he needed to keep his foot elevated at times. This would obviously be impossible to do from the bench.

They’ve mentioned before in games too that he had to watch in the locker room cause he can’t move out the way if needed

I don't know if he was watching the game from the bench, but I assume he was. I saw him join the huddle after the game was over.

He has been watching from the locker room so he can keep his leg elevated. Let's not get into speculation here. This dude is the definition of a team player and if it was safe to sit on the bench he'd be doing it.

Yes there was something written about it a couple of days ago. The low chairs and the angle of the cast make it difficult for him to sit courtside and still stay out of bounds!!

Yeah can confirm what ucawn said. He was sitting behind the bench for some of the game - right in the corner

I thought I heard somewhere that he needs to keep his leg elevated, so that's why he stays in the locker room.

Can confirm. He has had to keep it elevated and couldn’t do it from the bench.

From the Journal Inquirer on February 27.

Injured UConn forward Akok Akok attended Wednesday’s game but watched the action from the locker room as doctors have advised him to keep his foot elevated and he’s unable to do that sitting on the bench.
