I would think we still have a shot here. As a west coast kid, he certainly has a good amount of east coast schools on his list and of course he was committed to us originally. Unless Hurley has other PGs in mind.

Good point. I think that two of the guards he recruited are both 6-4.

As I posted a week ago, Akinjo is open to revisiting UConn. He wanted to see what else would come along and see who UConn would hire. However, Danny Hurley is a hot name with kids. URI was a trendy favorite this year and the love between Hurley and his players was on full display on television. No way Akinjo doesn’t hear Danny out.
