Bill Withers, who gave us so many wonderful performances, died at 81 on March 30, 2020. He was a masterful , soulful, entertainer.

I first heard about his passing yesterday -- I would have thought that would be something I'd hear about really soon after it happened. He had a rare combination of a great voice, great delivery, and he made really good choices. He, Grover Washington, and Ralph MacDonald (all sadly no longer with us) all worked on each others' projects, and I kind of think of them as a trio.
