@Coast2CoastHoop: UConn saw Ahmed Hill, a 2014 St. Thomas Aquinas (GA) guard today.

Very good player and I would love for him to be a Husky. He dropped 41 and 17 last game.

From a recent interview he said he really loves Ollie and UConn I remember correctly.

Well I'd love to get Hill I think we have a really good chance with him if Ollie gets signed long-term...

But in terms with other recruits Malik Abdul-Abu has strong interest in us as well. And he and Jared Terrell have said over and over that they are playing college ball together. So I don't know which package I want. Both!

And Jahlil Okafor is pretty much out of the question since he has said that he's playing with Tyus Jones (unless we make a run at him too of course. Anything is possible with Ollie at the helm).

I would love to get another Okafor, and I am still holding out hope that Ollie works some magic there. If that falls through, what are we hearing about Paschal Chukwu? Are we still looking at him? Might not be a bad pick up if the whole Okafor thing falls through. Couple him with Abu, Terrell, and Hill .... Watch out.

Duffy blog post from last June. Also, when Duffy was polling recruits over the summer about what they thought of Ollie(before JC's retirement), he included an item on twitter that stated a 4 star 2013 recruit said he would more than likely commit to UConn if Ollie was named HC. I had the feeling that the recruit in question was Hill.

It would be awesome for him to commit and get our momentum back recruiting wise. Players want to be involved with success, so a commit from a big time guard shows #1 uconn isn't going away and #2 that other 2014 commits will get to play along side other great players and be a very good team.
