I was glad to read that Ann Strother is in a nursing program. I remember reading that she was majoring in nursing at UConn and wondering how she could do it, with all the time required for clinicals.

Don't know about anyone else here, but I got to meet Ann when she was maybe a soph at UConn. What a sweetheart of a person. That she comes from such a nice family isn't too surprising.

I meet Ann and her mom at Pannera in Manchester right after she graduated. What nice people.

I recall that a former UConn player's parents traveled a long way to Storrs on Ann's senior night....specifically to pay tribute to her due to her special efforts to
embrace their own daughter when she entered UConn as a frosh. That journey said a ton about the kind of person Ann is.
