Adamec: Stef says, "It's an awesome weekend to be a Husky"

One of Stefanie Dolson’s friends and classmates is Shannon Creghan, a member of the University of Connecticut field hockey team.

“That’s awesome. It’s awesome that they won today and I can’t wait to see her,” Dolson said. “I’m so proud.


“It means a lot to the school. For the field hockey team to win the national championship, the men’s basketball team to win that tournament in New York, the men’s soccer team winning today, it’s an awesome weekend to be a Husky.”

Those other teams are doing great, but how is the women's basketball team doing? What? Unanimous number 1. Winning by 40 ppg. That sounds pretty good too.
