• Geno was an asst to Jim Foster at St Joe's in 1978 (he left and Muffet joined Foster's staff);
• Geno's best friend is St Joe's men's coach Phil Martelli
• St Joe's coach Cindy Griffin was recruited by Geno and Chris
• Geno coached Griffin's older sister at Bishop McDevitt
• St Joe's Dir of Bball Operations is Katie Gardler, daughter-in-law of Geno's former HS coach and friend Buddy Gardler and sister-in-law of Meghan; Katie also was an AAU teammate of Meghan Culmo and Debbie (Baer) Fiske and played against UConn in 1992 at Gampel while playing for St Joe's
• St Joe's player Erin Shields' sister Kerri was recruited by Geno a few years ago but chose BC; Erin joined Kerri on her recruiting trip

Yes, for a year I think. He walked on to the men's team. Not a good experience as I understand it and he transferred to Assumption.

Geno does have many connections to the City of Philadelphia and to St. Joe's.......... And I understand that. And he can have a meal and a glass of wine with them after the Tournament. But this is Business. National Championship business.

All I want him to do is whip them , maybe gently , but whip them and lets go on to the next round.
