Carl reports that Puerto Rico is in the semifinals today in the qualifying for the 2018
World Championships. Canada/Brazil....and Puerto Rico/ Argentina. Three teams qualify so if PR wins either today or tomorrow they will get in. One of the players on the PR team is from our very own Manchester
High...a short drive from #1's home. Ashley Perez went to St. John's and then transferred to James Madison [I think]. Carl reported that she had 9 points in an earlier game....I hope she is in the rotation.
I did see her play in an AAU event...a Crystal-sized scoring point at that level....very feisty.
