If she's close to the level of Stewie, Moriah, and Morgan, that will be a fabulous foursome. Add in the mysterious 5th starter and they could be historically good.

Carl refers to a potential "hat trick" - appropriating a hockey term - for Kia: NCAA championship with UConn, Pan-Am Games championship with Team Canada, and a potential shot at the Rio Olympics in 2016.

Excellent, and props to Kia.

But Bill Russell (who else?) may have set the highest "hat trick" standard way back in '56-'57. In 14 months, an NCAA championship with USF (second one there), an Olympic Gold Medal with Team USA, then an NBA championship (first of eleven) with the Celtics. Not quite a Grand Slam, but a notable hat trick.

If Stef had not gotten into foul trouble in the national semis, Maya could have had the hat trick of FIBA WCs, NCAA, and WNBA within 12 months.
