We now know that Geno and at least one other coach watched Saniya play at least once. He also made a house visit and has been in frequent communication with her coach. Further, she had dinner at the Auriemma home during her recent official visit, Bria Hartley was her host, and she made her decision to commit to UConn because she sensed a "good fit," academically, geographicaly, and with her future teammates and coach.

We have less information about Erica McCall. Was she treated to pasta a la Auriemma? Who was her host (they are selected with care, my guess would be fellow Cali-girl Kaleena)? Were her parents with her? Just curious.

Pasta? At a barbeque?

As far as the parents go, I thought Erica's father was all hepped up about witnessing a practice session run by Geno.

Wonk is correct. I also read that Geno hosted a barbecue. Maybe Kathy made pasta salad.

I didn't read it, but I would expect that Erica's father, as a coach, must have been very impressed with the practice, especially with the chemistry they have this year.
