Ad takes over site

I've been able to ignore the tasteless ads referencing politics and sex.
What I haven't been able to ignore is the full page ad "We Build Giants" for buildsubmarines.com. Brutal. Cannot get by it on a laptop even though it says to scroll down to return to content. Even closing/re-opening a browser won't get rid of it.
Can the ad links be managed at all by mods?

I am getting a pop up from "Mcafee" claiming that I need to scan my PC. This add is probably a virus, since I don't have McAfee, and it blocks me from doing anything else on the site. I have to shut down the browser and then come back. I have gotten this ad twice so far.
