If I were an opposing coach, men or women, I would post this in the locker room before the game against us.

That might not have the result you would want. It just emphasizes Connecticut success. That's a different thing than when. The opposing coach says something that can be construed to be disrespectful to your team, which is actually motivating.

I don't thk tht any opponent needs motivation, just the name and the game is enuff motivation. A lot of teams ( esp OOC teams) circle tht game on their schedule. Teams tht beat UConn celebrate a win over the Huskies like they just won the ncaa championship. I believe tht up on Rocky Top they still get on their party lines, cooking their vittles ( poor little squirrels) tht they've shot and talk abt tht game, guess it helps them forget the pain of losing to Shea Ralph twice last year.

Rather than wasting $$$, why not make some of the older trophies "traveling" trophies among legendary players and other key staff who can display the trophy in their home offices, business offices, etc. for, say, one year.
