So essentially, the Bristol Gang used the ACC to hurt the Big East again and gave them virtually nothing for the trouble? Shocked, just shocked.

Swofford, Pitt and Cuse got played like suckers and ESPN now has them all by the cajoobies. Couldn't have happened to a more deserving bunch...

There weren't any surprises. The original contract was backloaded. Teams were told they'd be getting $1 to $2 million more by adding SU and Pitt and reopening the contract, ceding additional rights, and extending the contract. Teams will average about $2.4 million more during the first 12 years versus the old $12.9 mil contract then they get into the 3-year extension which returns about $10 million a year more than the original $12.9 million deal. Those 3 years average $23 million a year.

I'm sure there's other stuff in there too like the SU and Pitt exit fees and the ACC entrance fees that go to the 12 ACC clubs.
