That's a great group of players, and congrats to Shakayla Thomas on a great year.

So Muffet's players got shut out of ACC POY by both the coaches and the media. Where is the video of her and her team putting on pouty faces and crossing their arms upon hearing the announcement.

I guess she was so excited that in her postgame presser she forgot to talk about how Turner is the best player in the country, and Allen is also the best player in the country.

As much as I hate to like your response and pic... I had to do it as it was the perfect retort

Amazingly, putting a beatdown on Duke didn't do enough to get ND a POY award.

When looking at all the Conference POY and 1st Team Conference teams, WBCA is going to have a tough job picking 10 players for their All American Team.

Are the 3 UConn players a lock like they were last year? I'm not sure.

I do think Collier and Samuelson are a lock. Gabby Williams is a strong possibility but not a lock.
(Not my opinion, just basing this on historical AA voting behavior.)

Congrats to Shak and all the other selectees. I would have put her on my first team, but I was expecting the POY to be Brown, Peterson, Allen, or Turner.

It's interesting that Hines-Allen made only second team. I think she was in the top 10 in AA pre-season voting. I think she, Brianna Turner, and Nina Davis all had good years, but not to the level of expectations.

Thomas was among those being mentioned as possible POY, along with the others you mentioned. It wasn't going to surprise me if it went to any of them.

Hines-Allen also got one of the ACC POY awards last year. But she just wasn't the consistently dominant force this year that she was last year.

I'm a little more surprised that Romero only made 2nd team.
