Good article on this weekend's games for the ACC. Four top 20 home games.

And lots of stats about this "power" conference:
  • Conference teams have lost 31 consecutive games to non-league opponents ranked among the top five at kickoff
  • ACC teams were 2-12 versus outside top-25 opponents in 2010
  • ACC's BCS record is a national-worst 2-11 (Each of the other five major conferences has won at least six BCS games)
Even though David Teel is a local writer, he has never given in to being a homer, for either VATech, UVA or the ACC. And he has come down hard on Swofford and Shalalalala in the past.

ACC Big Weekend

At the end of this weekend, the Big East will have played ten games against BCS opponents. Remarkably, 8 of the 10 will have been on the road. It is beyond difficult to figure out how we are supposed to win at least 50% of the time against BCS opponents if we can't get them to let us play in our buildings half the time.

ACC Big Weekend

I think the ACC wins 3 against the majors this weekend, with a shot at 4. I like the ACC school in each game by Maryland/WVU.
