Upon rewatching the video below I noticed the message on Aaliyah's sweatshirt - the definition of sacrafice. You want this kid on your team to lead by example. Freeze the video at the 0:09 mark. Would also encourage everyone to replay the last few games and listen. On the defensive end of the floor you will hear a constant, calm & persistent voice organizing, encouraging & directing. That voice is Aaliyah's. That voice was missing from the UCONN defense end of the floor last year and the performance surely reflects that. Some will view this as a criticism & perhaps it is, but IMO that voice should be coming from ONO. At the end of the season Aaliyah's greatest contribution to the team will be her voice.
