Her total number of assists for her junior and senior seasons is 509 and counting with a  7.07 a/g average over that period. She is the only Husky to ever post those numbers.  Her career a/g average is currently at 5.18, which surpasses the previous leader Jill Brumbaugh (1984-88) who averaged 5.06 a/g.

Nika came to UConn as a pass first point guard - she will graduate holding virtually every school assist record. Geno has always asked his players to push themselves to excel in what they do best. There is no question that Nika has met that challenge!
