Congratulations to Aaliyah on this milestone. A wink, a nod and a tip o' the turban to her. 
This is pretty much what we expected when she committed 4 years ago. I nice to see her reach this plateau. Now let's try for 1700 career points. She has as many as 16 more games this year if they reach the championship game again, and 37-40 games next year. She can easily do it.
If she averages 18.5 ppg over the next 54 games, she'll reach 2000 points. Now THAT is a milestone. There are a lot of UConn greats, legends even (Swen Cash/Sue Bird) that didn't score 2,000 points. There are only 11 former UConn women that are in the 2000 career points scored club. Maya Moore sits all alone in the 3,000 point club with 3036.
