AAC Tourney Expectations

The optimist in me wants to believe this team CAN string together 4 wins and get to the tourney. I really wouldn't be that surprised if it happened.

Reality is, this team just doesn't have the mental toughness to do that and could lose in the first or second game. They've been up and down all season and I don't expect that to change. I do think this team has a lot of talent. For whatever reason, it's just not translating to consistent success on the court.

maybe it will take a 'win or go home' situation to get through to this group.

Bottom line, anything less than the AAC Championship is still a let down.

Game starts with an 8-0 USF run on two wide open threes on poor transition defense off turnovers and a put back dunk. Fans continue to stand and clap, out of rhythm, to "Get Ready for This" by 2 Unlimited as the first media timeout approaches.
