Can't wait to beat Memphis and Ville back to back. That's the week the rest of AAC and the entire country learn we in this beeeetch.

It's like they wanted to put as many of the very very few nationally appealing games together as possible. Why wouldn't you spread out UConn-Memphis and UConn-Louisville?

21 games on ESPN networks or CBS (not counting the four on CBSSN). UConn has never had anything close to this much exposure.

So by my count this leaves only 6 games that are not on national tv. Does UConn own the rights to sell these games? How does this impact our relationship with SNY? Does anyone know how much we were making off these tier 3 games in the past?

F!ucking ESPNU. I'm not buying a higher tier service for 4 games. Anyone live near Storrs who has ESPNU and looking for company in early January?

I like the fact that everybody plays each other twice, it's ideal for a basketball schedule - ten teams, eighteen games. It's too bad football and money had to take precedence over common sense.

I think the exposure is pretty good because we're getting more ESPN/ESPN2 games than I expected.

For the life of me I can't understand why we're on CBS SN for 4 games, and only 1 game on CBS.

I was expecting at least 3 CBS Network games. CBS has to show 12 games. While I recognize that 6 of those are OOC and UConn has nothing to offer there, CBS somehow passed on the UConn v. Memphis and UConn v. Cincinnati games. Cincy is on a weekend so it has CBS written all over it. CBS also could have requested that Memphis v. UConn be scheduled on a Saturday. Remember, CBS gets the best 12 games in the entire conference. It gave one to UConn, 3 to Louisville. I'm assuming 2 to Memphis, but who the heck are they playing?

Not troubled at all by ESPNU. That's fine.

It's only the CBS side that bugs me.

THIS^^^

Quite an unfortunate 3 day stretch... UL lucked out.

More bizarre: CBS has the right to the best 12 AAC games. The contract stipulated that they would show at least 6 games.

They are showing only 3.

Bizarre.

I don't think it is bizarre, I take it as conformation of what I have thought all along: Aresco is a slimy, lying .

New Years Eve at 9pm? Really? Well that sucks for everyone with a life.
