So I was looking at the Pac 12 schedule and it's actually smart how they set up their conference schedule. Every team is paired up with another team, and you play another pair on Thursday/Saturdays. So for example, Oregon at Cal and Oregon St at Stanford on Thursday and then Oregon at Stanford and Oregon St at Cal on Saturday.
Due to the location of the AAC and the brutal traveling, it would be a no brainer for the AAC to adopt something similar. The good thing is the pairs would be pretty simple:
UConn
Temple
UCF
USF
ECU
Cincy
Houston
SMU
Memphis
Tulane
Wichita
Tulsa
This will reduce traveling costs and wear and tear on the players. Seems like a no-brainer, right?
