No you can’t. His D helped get a 5 second call. Which was the best possible outcome.

If he's truly that good at defense we would have heard of him by now.
 

You can still make a case that the walk on should not have been inserted on D, in the first place.
However since we got a 5 second call
It worked.
Not getting Carlton in was a huge call

Plus Carlton wasn’t going to take the shot but someone else was. Carlton was going in to crash the boards after a potential (probably a guaranteed) miss
 
The JI says it wasn't the refs that first suggested the need for the walk-on to stay in but "someone seated at the scorers table". If that someone gets paid by UConn, they should get the sack. They'll probably get a raise.
