Didn't see this posted previously but if I missed it I apologize. AAC QB rankings from the Orlando Sentinel (pre-spring) and post spring (SB Nation)
Pre-Spring: Ranking the QB position in the AAC
1. Memphis (Riley Ferguson)
2. USF (Quinton Flowers)
3. SMU (Ben Hicks)
4. Houston (Kyle Postma/Kyle Allen)
5. UCF (McKenzie Milton)
6. Cincinnati (Hayden Moore)
7. ECU (Undecided)
8. Tulsa (Chad President/Will Hefley)
9. Tulane (Jonathan Banks/Glen Cuiellette/Johnathan Brantley)
10. Navy (Zach Abey/Malcom Perry)
11. UConn (Shirreffs & co)
12. Temple (Logan Marchi/Frank Nutile/Anthony Russo)
Post Spring: AAC Preseason Position Reviews: Quarterback
1. USF (Quinton Flowers)
2. Memphis (Riley Ferguson)
3. SMU (Ben Hicks)
4. Houston (Kyle Postma/Kyle Allen)
5. UCF (McKenzie Milton)
6. Tulsa (Chad President/Will Hefley)
7. Cincinnati (Hayden Moore)
8. Navy (Zach Abey/Malcom Perry)
9. ECU (Undecided)
10. UConn (Shirreffs & co)
11. Temple (Logan Marchi/Frank Nutile/Anthony Russo)
12. Tulane (Jonathan Banks/Glen Cuiellette/Johnathan Brantley)
There are writeups on each team/quarterback in each of the links. Not a total surprise to see UConn rated lower on these lists considering our offensive woes and uncertain QB situation but I feel like we may wind up getting better QB play than anticipated this year. The American has some quality quarterback play (and has really since the inception of the league) and that doesn't figure to change in 2017.
