USF v SJS -

SJS showing some hurry up against the Bulls. Supposedly SJS have a decent run blocking line.

USF down 0-3 and under pressure early. Struggling is fine, losing a disaster.

Great to see "live" college ball again. Wooo hooo! Just hope SJS can give them a run for the whole game.

If SJS had a GB they would be killing the bulls right now. I hope the bulls pick it up soon.

16-0 - didn't make the PAT.

USF looks like garbage but it's only 1st qtr.

I am confused, I thought this Thursday was the earliest you could start your season.

I think this game is showing that game plans matter and that there is a little more parity in football than people think. Which is why I think we have more than a puncher's chance to beat them in two weeks.

Also, they're probably a little over rated...

They got their footing back - now 16-14. Scratch that - USF just scored again.

From TV that stadium looks emptier than the Rent on our worst days.

SJSU is awful, holy lord. On top of that, Flowers and Johnson look pretty much unstoppable. Making me nervous for week 2.

Well, they are top-20 for a reason. And we already know what we're getting with USF and Flowers.

Now that they're awake and getting a few cheap PI calls USF look like a talented squad. Good news is this travel will take a bite out of them and we have some good film to study.

SJS shot themselves in the foot with those turnovers or this would still be a game. One thing they did do though was show that the Bulls can be had. Just have to outwork them like the Spartans did in the 1st quarter.

Turnovers are the name of the game in college football. That's why I'm extremely excited to see the 3-3-5 aggression in action...

With a mere 5 hour direct flight, a week until USF plays I-AA Stony Brook at home, and another week until playing the Huskies at the Rent, 18-23 year old players may recover. It's not like as if they're flying from Auckland!

I was thinking they look quite beatable. Their D doesn't look that good. We will give up some big plays to Flowers, but with the 3-3, we will have more speed on the field closer to the LOS. We just need to make tackles. Could be interesting.

I was thinking the same thing. SJS has been shooting itself in the foot after going up 16-0. USF defense looks good though, but their offense doesn't look unstoppable. That being said I know it's only the first game of the year, but I hope they don't find themselves until week 3.
