I was at all the games over the weekend. You watch Cumberland up close and there's a lot more to his game than meets the eye. It looks like it's all physical with him, but he's very involved in watching what defenders do with guarding him. He's not the fastest or the kid who can jump the highest, but he's a unique combo of agility, balance and strength, not to mention he can knock down some crazy looks. He has a highly refined street ball game with a chess player like approach to getting defenders going in the wrong direction. He's definitely an all american in my book, no way not one of the top 12 or 15 guys this year. It was funny late in the final game some guys were joking about what a team would look like with Cumberland and Zion Williamson in the same lineup. That would be the pick and roll from hell with the 2 of them headed downhill. LOL
The crazy thing was he went 1 for 7 from 3 and still drops 33 points at probably 6'4. That's against a very good defensive team. He earned his mvp yesterday.
