Personally, I think both our schools should focus on getting our football teams to above .500 before we start complaining about access...but that's just me.

As much as I hate to admit it, you're right. It's a tougher sell for UCONN fans though since we had our BCS "rights" essentially stripped away for seemingly arbitrary reasons (ex - "We want New England to be our turf"). But, ultimately, you're right - UCONN football needs to focus on winning more than 2-3 games a year before biotching about crappy conference affiliation.

You feel free to worry about that all you want. You're used to being a mid-major, I'm not and UConn shouldn't be forced to be one yet that's what's happened. A program with a worse athletic profile across the board (Rutgers) got out and there is absolutely no reason we should be stuck with you guys. So yeah, I'm going to complain about access because I'm not going to just accept the fact that we're in a mid-major conference and I should be happy about it.

Let's not forget for the next 5 years UConn will earn more in the AAC than you got in the Big East.
