The old lounge atmosphere of Zenny's has been transformed into a bright new restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. While it is said that appearance is only surface deep, the dazzling freshness of the place draws the diner right through the door.
Once inside and seated in the sunny space, their journey to culinary delights begins shortly after ordering. Connie and Rod Rock are weekend regulars.
"We love TOAST," Connie said.
"It is just what we needed in Storrs," Rod added.
With the restaurant vacuum left by Kathy John's and Zenny's, TOAST has filled the need with unique offerings with fresh, locally purchased ingredients."
