As I posted earlier, this was another game on my Operation 351 journey. I got there early to my seat in the second row from the top of the arena. I was totally surrounded by Marquette fans. Soon afterwards, a row of guys wearing Uconn shirts sat behind me . Before the game, I was not going to be that one fan shouting for the opposing team in a section that pissed everybody else off around him. Now that the hoard was here, I was screaming the rest of the night with them drawing angry and disgusting looks from the surrounding Marquette fans.
So this is just a note of thanks for the camaraderie shown by section 217 of the two top rows. It was definitely a fun night and to be honest unexpected. Let us go kick little Johnny’s butt!
