A few notes can deduced from their last game vs CCSU:

1. Their line up is small, their center position is Justin Sears 6'8'', 205 lbs. He is lethal in the first game, in both scoring and rebounding.
2. Their bench is decent (take for what's worth, one game analysis). Front court bench players are better.
3. This team is balanced, with a edge of guard plays. 3 -guards in the starting lineup, and they are BIG guards. I will watch how Boat play in particular.

Shall we post a big line up and pound inside or match them up with a small line up?

Based on how big they list Sherrod (6'6") you can take 1-2" off everyone's size chart. They will be smart with the ball and obviously can shoot it in runs. Need to guard people, keep them in front of us using quickness to make them earn everthying and not take chances allowing open looks.

By the way what Husky fan in his right mind schedules a sales meeting at 3pm on Veterans Day? I had no clue they were playing at 3pm a couple weeks ago........this sucks......no radio or phone calls from friends as i will tape it and watch it when I get home! Dumba**!

Hard to take anything from that.

CCSU seems to have played a four guard lineup going: 6, 6-1, 6-5, 6-5, 6-7 to start the game. It's fair to say UConn will be taller than CCSU.

Vinales had 30 against Yale. So they had some trouble defending him. He was 11-23 on the game.

They did adjust 2nd half on Vinales as he was just 2 of 7.......big guards which will allow our guys to use their speed to offset.....I do see their guards rebounded the ball well too......

Sherrod was really really impressive in the pro am this summer. Great footwork, uses pump fakes, scores the ball very well. Top 3 player at the event.

Yale returns 4 of 5 starters and their top 6 of 7 scorers from last years team. They were a young team and struggled early on until they started to catch their stride late in the year which was too late. Their best players are probably 6' 8 forward Justin Sears (2nd scoring and tied best for rebounding on the team while ranking 10th in the league for FG%) and their 6'4 PG Javier Duren

THey lost their best perimeter shooter from last years team so they will probably struggle with the outside shot. However, they have led the Ivy in rebounding the past 2 season and have led them in offensive rebounding also which happens to be something UConn has struggled with at times last year and this year in their exhibition vs Southern.

Yale has depth, experience an a lot of players on the roster who are between 6'5 and 6'9. The Bulldogs will challenge Harvard for the Ivy title and in mot any year would have won the Ivy league

We play to our strength and let the other team worry about matching up. Besides, I'm not sure we can pound it inside successfully against many teams at this stage of the season.

If Yale is anywhere near as good as Harvard we're screwed. Harvard is the greatest basketball team in the history of New England.
