I am reliably informed that there will be a benefit concer on January 26, presumably for famlies of victims of the Sandy Hook tragedy. My informant told me that the first (of several) artists to sign up was Willie Nelson. Tix @ $100.

I would love to attend but I am unsure if I could stay composed if Willie were to sing his signature piece, "You Were Always On My Mind."

I hope someone informs our friends on checkerboard square about this.I am sure there are Lady Vol fans who will recall the sympathetic and generous response of people in Connecticut to Pat's illness and the establishment of a foundation in her name. If given an opportunity to reciprocate, I'm sure some or many will.
