Have I missed it? Has he signed the official LOI? If not...should I be concerned...worried...or panicking?

Yes, he signed a "letter of intent to troll the Boneyard till next season begins."

Blooz...thanks.

I read an article in the Courant maybe 5 or 6 days ago where the writer outlined
the roster for next year...strengths/weaknesses etc. He specifically mentioned newcomers
Lubin, Cassell, Stuckey...nary a word on Hamilton.

This has been talked about in numerous threads but based on his brothers prior experiences with a NLOI Hamilton didn't sign an official one but instead signed a Financial Agreement letter. Hamilton is smart to not sign something that has no benefit to him at all. Had he signed a NLOI and then Ollie jumped to NBA after this past year he would have been tied to UConn. These NLOI's do nothing but screw the kid which is not surprising considering its a NCAA procedure and we all know they could care less about 18-22 yr olds as long as the checks keep coming in.

Who's Stuckey? And do you have a link to this article?

good grief.

Good grief is a strange colloquialism, one of the expressions that make American English difficult for many people not raised here. Like "awfully good."

I think most languages have colloquialisms, word combinations that have different meanings than the dictionary understanding. That's one reason it is very difficult to translate from very old languages (ancient Greek, Hebrew) to modern languages.

Hamilton has commented on this a bunch of times and every time he's unequivocal in his conviction that he's coming to UConn.

Here, this will help.

Does he sound like he's waivering on his commitment?

Are you talking about this article in the Courant?

If so Amore does mention Hamilton.

Daniels, though inconsistent for much of his UConn career, is a unique player, with the quickness and skills of a small forward, and he handled the power forward spot and was difficult to defend. Incoming freshman Daniel Hamilton, who has signed a financial aid agreement but not yet a binding letter of intent, seems to have the all-around offensive game to fill part of that void, although he describes himself as more of a shooting guard/small forward type.
