The Winter Lot at the casino is about a five minute drive from the Hampton. With regard for things to do, assuming that you don't want to lose your money gambling, there is a nice brewery, Fox Farm Brewery, on Music Vale Road in Salem that is about ten miles from the Hampton mentioned above.
