We should be GLAD the Big East was not poached back then. Be thankful UConn was given the time to develop into what it's become.

Correct - Butch. Correct. The Big East football conference was created in 1991 (on paper) to prevent the Big East basketball conference from falling apart because of this. Everything the University of Connecticut is, in 2013, good and bad, traces back to the formation of the Big East Conference.

It's long been time to move o, though. Long. I've been there and done that with this discussion.
