Omar made some really big plays in this game and I hope this is a sign of things to come. Big left-handed driving basket, clutch free throws, some big boards. Overall, he showed some poise when the pressure what up.
Amazing to pull out a win when both Bazz and Boat could not shoot (for most of regulation).
Boat may be trying too hard at times, especially on defense. He needs to stay in front of his man and stop the high risk going for steals, especially in crunch time (Ricky Moore, teach him this).
Bazz was awesome when the switch was flipped, but neither he, nor Boat, were great at keeping their composure and steadying the ship when Q did not give up.
Wolf hurt us tonight. He could have helped change the way their forwards were controlling the inside, but got dumb fouls through bad decisions. Well, he probably needs some time in games to think on his feet out there.
All in all, an amazing win. Maybe Bazz will figure out his role a little sooner tonight against NM. He is our best player, bonehead shots and all (as well as the brilliance).
