Essentially, the line between professional and amateur has been blurred. There are two specific questions in my mind:
1. How does this affect High School athletes? Is there any reason they can't sign endorsements? I believe there are several high profile high schoolers.
2. Now, if a college player declares for the pro draft, then doesn't get selected, are they still eligible to play in college? ( Assuming they haven't used up their four years?) What would be the justification for NOT allowing them to come back and play?
AS an aside, what will prevent a college booster from paying $10,000 for a player's shirt, or artwork.
