Before Jim Calhoun had Big East Championship talent, before he had National Championship talent, he needed to find ways to be competitive against teams with better talent. His approach? Take kids who weren't getting offers from Syracuse, Georgetown, St John and Villanova, and press the hell out of them from the minute they set foot on the court. When they got the ball, they flew up and down the court, not letting their opponents relax. JC made UConn an exciting place for kids to come - and better players started arriving on campus.
Fast forward to now, Bobby-Boy D plays a 1960s conservative, bend-don't-break defense and a 1950s , ZZzzzzzzzzzzz offense. Resign Bobby-Boy.
