From sbncollegehockey.com's ranking of college hockey's top 80 NHL prospects:

Hockey East (11 teams): 27 prospects (33.75% of the 80 prospects) (2.45 prospects/team)

NCHC (8 teams): 20 prospects (25%) (2.5 prospects/team)

Big Ten (6 teams): 19 prospects (23.75%) (3.16 prospects/team) Very impressive considering only six teams

ECAC (12 teams): 10 prospects (12.5%) (.83 prospects/team)

WCHA (10 teams): 4 prospects (5%) (.4 prospects/team)

Atlantic (12 teams): 0 prospects (0%) (0 prospects/team)

Of course this does not take into account the arrival next year of Jake Eichel to BU and perhaps Noah Hanifin to BC. Eichel and Hanifin are projected to be as high as the 2nd and 3rd picks overall after Connor McDavid in the 2015 NHL draft. BC is also adding Sonny Milano, Alex Tuch, and Zach Sanford, who was picked in the 2nd round of the 2013 draft. Milano and Tuch are projected 2014 first round picks. BC just reloads every year.

It will be a long road to make up the talent gap but it is going to be great to see great future NHL talent in person year in year out.
