Yippee.

That Diaco should be on UConn's hit list for his criminal misconduct.

****Very good, but painful recounting of the slow demise of UConn athletics which he rightly points out are the effects of the P5 cartel freeze out and losing on the field and the court. Independence will prove to either be hugely successful or a final dagger relegating UConn to a glorified catholic basketball school with the rest of sports returning to a second tier IAA level. This is the wages of consistently failed leadership.
*** The article reminded me why Larry McHugh is a clown. Not only because of Paul P, but driving even more overhead obligations on sports that producing zero revenue.
**** The fact the Loserville which is a substantially substandard academic institution fraught with questionable sports related practices got in the ACC is prove itself that neither our AD not President we’re equipped to negotiate and maneuver a better situated institution into membership.
*** Our state leadership lacks the vision to understand the economic impacts of P5 membership. Had they bought their way in, it would have paid itself back many fold on a straight $$ return basis, but also hugely increases local $$ flow.
*** The only place we can go is B1G and every waking moment should be oriented in that direction with the state prepared to make a huge economic investment to buy in.

I agree with everything you say. I doubt the last sentence will come to fruition.
