WOW! And the last time I checked when I lived in Ohio a few years ago, they charged $10 to attend the spring game. WOW!

WOW we need you like a rumor of Paul or George coming back. As a history major you must have missed a lot of classes or just lack class.

Based on the sum total of the following facts, how is Ohio State's spring game attendance so much of a surprise?: 1) The Buckeyes won the recent national championship game. 2) A traditional football power re-experiences success (#1). 3) It's Ohio, football-first territory.

Any guesses what UConn would draw coming off a national championship and having lost only 1-2 games in the past three years and have three QB's coming back that all played?

You're a strange dude. It's tough enough to figure out what the hell you're talking about but when Grampa Nicky likes your post it pretty much confirms it's complete nonsense.

Ohio St started playing football in 1890 and joined the Big Ten Conference in 1912. They have 8 National Championships. Their state is roughly 8 times the size of CT with a population almost 3 times the size. The stadium can hold 104,000+(fourth largest on campus stadium) as compared to UConn's Rent which at present can hold 40,000+(and is approximately 25 miles from campus) but....... if UConn had won the National Championship last year I'd venture 30-35K(even OSU didn't reach capacity for it's Spring game) for Spring game with a huge outcry from the masses for immediate expansion or a new stadium(semi enclosed). Winning does that.

Agree with most of it. I too think UConn could pull in 30k plus after a national championship.
