Nice second half effort by Whalen's Gophers Severely shorthanded and underwomaned the team never gave up and stayed with the Huskers in the second half.

It didn't help Minnesota's case that they had 3 key players out. Game would still have been 50/50, but I think it may have been closer.

My Gophers started off keeping it close and then the wheels just fell off. Like cancontent stated, missing 3 key players doesn't help but that is no excuse. Next woman up mindset gotta kick-in at some point. Players that do not get a lot of playing time and complaining about the coach not giving them any minutes, have to take advantage of these moments. Good run, Gophers.
