Last time the team missed the tourney consecutive years. KO building a strange legacy of highs and lows.

Temple beat a ranked Cincinatti team away last week. Clearly they aren't as bad as they looked in the first month of the season. We may not even fall out of Lunardi's bracket with the loss.

The season is long, SMU is down to 7 players because they lost Frazier, and were deep. There's an opportunity for two huge wins there against a highly ranked team.

RPI will be our biggest shortcoming playing in this conference, but we still have a good chance of making the tournament. We also have more room for improvement than most teams in the country because of our talent level. Few teams stay blazing hot the whole year, and we haven't gotten to that point at all yet. As the great basketball analyst Frank Sinatra would say, "the best is yet to come".

This team's effort and focus is too crappy to really believe they'll make it through the next 17 games or whatever without dropping at least 5 of them in headscratching fashion.

You could end up being right here, no question. But at the same rate, Hamilton, Gibbs, Purvis, and Adams all are guards with potential to take a step forward and truly be the guy people can depend on. If that does happen for one of them, I think the team as a whole would gel much better. How likely is it? Not too sure, but this year hasn't been too predictable.

Even in Kemba's last year, I think almost everyone would have put our odds on winning it all just as poorly as of January 6th.
