Thoughts

Relative to last year, we are much higher ranked at this time. 12-13 this time last year, we were 171 in Kenpom and 126 in Sagarin (I couldn't get the others).

The team is much better, even if the record is only one game better.

Given a healthy Gilbert, they can win some games down the stretch.

NET (and Massey) seem to be overrating Houston. Without a good draw, I'd expect no AAC teams into the second weekend, though the league, on average, is much better than it has been. It's trending in a good direction.
