Just watching that made me appreciate for the millionth time that Jim Calhoun brought THREE TITLES to the University of CONNECTICUT (and set up a fourth). Unfathomable when he was hired.

This is exactly what he told the team in 99, and I’m sure every other time afterwards. It’s a great way of breaking it down. Just 80 minutes of giving your all and you get to Houston. If I recall correctly, for the championship game, he changed it to“40 minutes to heaven”.
