This game is Exhibit A for the importance of winning early-season tournament games.

If we dropped this one, we don't even get a crack at MSU or Kentucky. We're un-ranked and irrelevant for most of the year, and probably a #6-8 seed instead of a #3. And that was when we were in the 11-bid Big East and had other cracks at top 10 scalps.

I really hope the importance of this game against Oregon is impressed on the players by the coaching staff.

Talk about a team that couldn’t make a three .

Roscoe Smith of all people with our only made threes until Kemba hit one with about two minutes left. Maybe Roscoe was a three afterall .
JA should watch this game pounding it inside and making free throws or they blow us out.
Both Bazz and Lamb were not the players they became at this stage.
