Brink was subbed out almost immediately. Not sure why. No fouls, didn't appear injured, I didn't see an obvious major mess up that would've gotten Tara's ire.

The Leger-Walkers aren't getting going yet, but unlike the previous game their teammates are picking up the slack today.

WSU grabbed a 15-14 lead, but Stanford finished the quarter on a 8-0 run. Jones leading the way w/ 8.

When Brink went out she was replaced by Prechtel. She came back in eventually. Didn't see any of Belibi the entire quarter, that's a big surprise.

I think Belibi's effectiveness has waned, and the issue is that she can clog up the lanes meanwhile Prechtel and Brink can both shoot from outside, which in theory gives Jones, Hull, and Williams more space to drive.

Man, it's bad enough when refs miss massive chicken wings, but they always seem to compound it by calling a foul on the defender. Ridiculous.

Stanford got stuck w/ a bad lineup on the floor for several minutes, don't know what Tara was thinking. Wilson, Lexie, Belibi, Van Gyteenbeek and Jerome. Went scoreless for the whole stretch.

It's pretty incredible how the Stanford defense has been able to shut down the Leger-Walkers this season when teams like Arizona couldn't.

Nobody has previously. They aren't the most efficient players, they just keep firing usually. They just aren't even getting shot attempts in these games.

It really is. She's been one of the few guards to have success after being shut down in the first meeting.

Somebody has to tell Tara to quit doubling on drivers and leaving Bella all alone. It ain't working. Bella has 17. That's mostly on Tara, not Brink. Massive breakdown in their defensive scheme.

45-36, lead was just 15. Stanford forced to call a timeout.

No fouls on WSU in the 3rd quarter. They play a physical brand of basketball. Hmm. Cougs got into the bonus. That's pretty hard to believe they didn't commit a single foul in 10 minutes.
