Over past 12 games. This is what he has done from FT line. Cant' happen. If you can't shoot you have to drive and penetrate and get something out of the play.

One FT every 30 mpg from the 2/3 player on team. Ouch.

He is a pass-only player on offense, which is incredibly easy to defend.

Great passers only make it work when the defense has to honor them as either shooters or getting to the rim. Jackson does neither.

That's probably why he averages over 4 assists a game with twice as many assists as TOs.

Imagine how good he would be if he was any type of scoring threat though. The dude would be the best player in college, not even joking.
This is the most frustrating thing about it. Like if he could even just attack the rim well. There’s no reason he shouldn’t be almost unstoppable on fast breaks.

A player with as high a usage as he has in our offense should be contributing to a lot more than 15 points per game between scoring and assisting.

He has a lower usage rate than every rotation player on our team other than Alex Karaban, and that's only 14.9% vs 14.8%

It is pretty interesting that AJ's productivity stats are low and DC's are high. It'd be really interesting to flip their minutes. That said AJ gets tons of hockey assists, pushes the pace and improves team defense.
What AJ needs though is good performances/games out of our PG/s so that he's not as necessary (<30mpg) both in the role of ballhandler pace-pusher and leader on the floor.

Usually if a player is capable of contributing so little on offense, they're terrible at everything else too. But not AJ, he's a freak of an athlete to the point where he'd probably be a helluva of defensive football player, or maybe soccer goalie. It may take him 3-5 more years to develop offensively as a basketball player, but when he does, he'll be worth the price of admission, right now however, it seems he just doesn't have enough of the fine motor skills that shooting a basketball requires, or it's strictly a mental thing like the Yips.

Andre for some reason is not able to tolerate contact. He avoids it at all costs. Does not drive and shoot while being fouled as he most always passes. He at this point could not guard a good 4 even though he is athletic enough to do so. It is a coaching fail being the end of his junior season. He does not like to scrap for rebounds but wants to swoop in and grab it.
